Monthly Archives: April 2009 Last night was our 2nd topic-driven meeting for the WPS. Our very own Robin Lin presented “Packaging & Presentation” and put her bows & boxes where her mouth was by not only showing us her presentation boxes, but where she orders everything from. From bows to boxes and stickers to shipping, she really opened up... What an awesome night. Robin’s presentation brought so much valuable information that I walked away with so many neat ideas because of her. Thank you Robin!April 24, 2009 – 7:11 am What a great meeting! I can’t wait for the next get together! -ChristobalApril 23, 2009 – 8:35 pm  Always looking to add new techniques to my lighting arsenal, I was inspired by the techniques of Yervant and Bruce Dorn at WPPI this year to start experimenting more with continuous supplemental light sources. I picked up a relatively inexpensive tungsten video light after Dorn’s seminar from a rep at www.lumierela.com. That evening, I tried... 5 comments Wow what a great shot. I always struggle taking shots in low lighting but this is the perfect example of how to do it. I would definitely like to try this. I love the iso 1600 too, it gives it a nice grain which really makes it look vintage.October 5, 2010 – 2:08 am Love this shot… and so does my friend who I am suppose to shoot with next time I go to Vegas.
