The chase for The WPS Photographer of the Year  is very close and up for grabs. The judges for the third quarter competition were Shane Snider, Jason Armond and Christobal Perez.  The next contest will be open shortly with new categories.</p>

- A simple capture that says so much and has all the elements: peak action, interaction and expression.<br />
- There is so much great emotion that is wrapped up in this one moment. Joy, happiness, and relief that they are finally married. Nice composition and isolation of subject.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Q3 contest is over and we&#8217;ll be revealing the award-winning images at our next meeting. There were a lot of amazing photographs to look through and the judges had a tough time selection the winners. We will talk about the winning images and how they were created together. This is a great time for all of us to grow and learn from one another!</p>
<p>Our meeting will be at Raleigh&#8217;s <a href="http://www.tribecatavernnc.com/index.php">Tribeca Tavern</a> where they make the best burgers. Naturally, we will be in a reserved room next to the bar. The gathering begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. The tavern is located at 6004 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27609.</p>
<p>Remember, all of our meetings are scheduled on the fourth Tuesday of every month. So, mark the date on you calender and we will see you there!</p>
