WPS membership Rules
By accessing the “Wedding Photographic Society” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Wedding Photographic Society”, “http://weddingphotographicsociety.com/forum”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “Wedding Photographic Society”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “Wedding Photographic Society” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
You agree that your username shall be as close to your REAL name as possible. The Wedding Photographic Society is a community of photographers first and foremost. Our goal is to bring the community together. It is difficult for forge a relationship with Alfsl8r when their real name is Alfred Slater. The WPS admins reserve the right to REMOVE or DENY any forum registration that does not adhere to this policy. Please be aware, the review process is manual so we will contact you with any questions.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, libelous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “Wedding Photographic Society” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “Wedding Photographic Society” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “Wedding Photographic Society” nor IPB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
By registering on & accessing these forums, you agree that you are the copyright holder/owner of any photograph submitted to the “Wedding Photographic Society” website/forum/blog. You also agree, as the copyright holder, that you grant limited permission for the “Wedding Photographic Society” to use this photographic on any “Wedding Photographic Society” maintained website. This is a limited copyright agreement permitting the “Wedding Photographic Society” to display your photo. No other rights are requested nor implied.
All members are required to list a website showing your current photographic work. If you do not have a website/blog/flickr page, please contact the admin admin@weddingphotographicsociety.com to request for an exception. Submitting a website/blog/flickr/etc that does not belong to you will result in your immediate expulsion from the wedding photographic society.
All images on a WPS member’s website (either applying or existing member) shall have been photographed by them or a representative of their company. Any supportive graphics or photographic images on members website, which are not wedding, portrait or portfolio related, should be legally purchased and authorized for commercial use. Due to the targeted nature of photography websites, no stock images may be used in the portfolio, website or blog of a photographer that would give a consumer the impression they were the creator of that photo. In other words, if you didn't photograph it, then you need to make sure you have permission to use it. Any violation of this policy will result in an immediate review of your website by the WPS and we reserve the right to take action up to and including expulsion from the WPS.
-You must be 18 years of age or older to access our forums.
-Violations of US criminal law are expressly prohibited.
-You are prohibited from sharing your login information with non-members.
-Personal attacks are strictly forbidden
-You agree that you operate your business in accordance with commonly accepted industry practices and standards and adhere to all applicable city, state and federal laws governing your business including taxation, licensing and insurance requirements.

You may post a link to your website, in any such permitted post. Sales hype or boasts by vendors are strictly forbidden.
