Ami Wheeler is the Social Catering Manager and Wedding Planner for the Umstead Hotel and Spa. Her expertise in the Wedding Industry is reflected in the average 35 weddings per year she plans as well as her tenure of ten years in the industry. Ami has been recognized as the 2007 NACE Affiliate Member of the Year and also the first place winner for her 2009 NACE Table Top Design. A former member of the Board of Directors for ISES and NACE, Ami is honored to be judging The Wedding Photographic Society Image Competition.
Roger Winstead is the Director of Photography at NC State University. He won numerous awards including NC Photographer of the Year and a Pulitzer Prize nomination.
Christobal Perez is co-owner of Azul Photography located in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a former photojournalist who worked at the Shreveport Times, The Raleigh News& Observer and Houston Chronicle. Christobal is a multiple Pulitzer Prize nominated photographer and a National Headlines winner who crossed over into weddings in 2003. He was named the AGWPJA’s 5th ranked wedding photojournalist (2007) and the WPJA’s 8th ranked wedding photojournalist in the world (2007). His company was also named “Best of Weddings” by The Knot Magazine in 2008 / 2009.
